Frederick (Charlie) Spanhake died on Wednesday, February 6th at Kingston
Hospital at the age of 90. He was revered as one of the versatile
old-timers knowledgeable about farming, fishing and hunting.
Charlie had apparently fallen in his driveway some days previously and
suffered from exposure. The Woodstock Rescue squad brought him to the
