Alan M. Houston, 70 of Park Drive died Sunday February 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1947 in San Francisco, CA son of the late Thomas and Patricia Lubet Houston. An area resident since 2002, he formerly resided in Orange County. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country for twenty years. He had been a computer programmer for Amscan in Chester, NY for many years. He was an avid computer operator, video gamer, and skilled with maneuvering remote control helicopters. He was a talented musician who could play the guitar, keyboards, and drums. He performed with the band called "Pony Tails" in the Middletown area. Alan was predeceased by his wife Patty Houston in March of 2015.
Surviving are his children: Robert and his wife Jennifer Houston of KY, Diane and her husband Ashley Harris,Gregory Houston of NV, Wallace and his wife Lori Fulford of West Shokan, and Jennifer Vasta of Shokan. A sister Linda Houston, 7 Grandchildren: Nicholas, Zachary, Matthew, Amanda, Taylor, Michael and Cooper. 2 great grandchildren: Jacob and Harper and his two cats Mo & Jo also survive.
