Catherine DeBellis, 67 of Rt. 28 died suddenly March 2, 2019 at the Kingston Hospital. She was born October 29, 1951 in the Bronx, daughter of the late Benjamin and Anastasia DeBellis. Catherine had been a landscaper for over 20 years with the New York City Parks Department. She has been an area resident for the past ten years. She was a talented artist who could work in a variety of media. She also was skilled at making decorative leather garments and crafts. She was a devoted biker who was a proud Hell's Angel member. She has been described as loving and feisty!
Surviving are her son Wesley Pultz of Roxbury, brother Robert DeBellis and sister Joann Leon both of FL, and daughter-in-law Shalimar Santiago of Big Indian.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Catherine will be announced. Please check back for an update. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia.
