Heather Marsten Obituary

SHOKAN… Heather P. Marsten, 66, of Ridge Road died suddenly Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her residence.  Born April 21, 1952 in St. Louis, MO. she traveled the country, before settling in New York, where she met her husband, James.

           She was an active volunteer in the community, and helped everyone she met. Heather enjoyed writing, reading, knitting, and was a member of the Living Word Chapel and St. Francis deSales Church.

           Predeceased by her husband, James in 2014, survivors include two sons: Christopher Marsten of Charleston, SC and Edward Marsten of Shokan, NY.  Her daughter, Katherine Marsten of Charleston, SC. Her sister, Diane Nelson of Ft. Worth, TX. She was predeceased by her brother, Howard Lidholm.

           Her Funeral Procession will form at 9:30 AM Tuesday at the E.B. Gormley Funeral Home, Main St. Phoenicia thence to St. Francis deSales RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Burial will follow in St. Francis deSales Cemetery.
