Ruth Graham

Ruth Graham, 85 of Pine Hill died Friday December 14, 2018 at the Mountainside Care Center in Margaretville after a one week stay.  She was born in NYC, January 12, 1933 daughter of the late Henry and Hilda  Yelsky Augustine.  She grew up in New York City, lived on a farm in Middleburgh, and made her home on Long Island prior to moving up to Pine Hill  thirty years ago.  She was a past president and active member of the Phoenicia American Legion Auxiliary .  Ruthie was a outgoing and gregarious individual who enjoyed peoples company, and was the consummate hostess to all her family and friends.  

Surviving are her husband "Rusty" Graham, 3 sons: William and Michael Miller, and Cal Graham.  Two brothers: Auggie and Richard Augustine, three grandchildren, three great grand children, and Rick Voigtman who she cherished like a son.  Ruth also leaves her feline companions Pepper & Mitzy.

A Service by the Ladies Auxillary of the Phoenicia American Legion will take place on Tuesday at 8pm at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Funeral Home.  You may share a special Ruth story on her Tribute Wall at gormleyfuneralhome.com
