Andrew M Poncic Sr.

Andrew M Poncic Sr. age 97 of Woodland Valley died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday January 30, 2020.  He was born January 7, 1923 in Jovsa, Slovakia son of the late Michael and Maria Kost Poncic.  Andrew served his nation in the US Air Force, and was proud to be an American.  He had been the owner and operator of Apon Record Co. in Long Island City, NY  He was predeceased by his wife Daria in 2010.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law: Andrew and Wallis Flood-Poncic of Woodland Valley. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Raphael Iannone on Wednesday Feb. 5, 2020 at the St. Francis de Sales Church Main St. Phoenicia.

Private burial will be at the family plot at the St. Andrew's Ukrainian Cemetery  New Jersey.
