Audrey A Taylor

Audrey Adler Taylor, 72, of Pine Hill, NY died peacefully on Friday May 12, 2023 at her home.  She was born May 4, 1951 in Lynchburg, VA daughter of the late Abe and Faye Slotkey Adler.  Audrey earned her B.S. degree in Special Education at the University of Tennessee.  She made her home in Miami, FL where she had been a travel agent and corporate account executive for ten years.  She had the opportunity to experience many world travel adventures.   She later founded Ms. Taylor's Lunch-In that identified a need at the Cushman School and developed services including food preparation, delivery to students, and weekly menu design.  At the same time, Audrey was a customer sales representative for Valentini-New Line Desserts where she interacted with vendors and built strong customer relations regarding orders and products.  When she moved to Pine Hill she was a customer relations representative for Key Bank Phoenicia. She began to make many wonderful friends in the Catskills.  From 2007-2017 Audrey was the Executive Assistant to the CEO and Board of Trustees at Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville, NY.  She assisted with financial duties, and was the front person for the organization both in person and by the phone.  Most every position she held in her life involved working with people, and helping children. 

Audrey was a loving mother, an excellent cook, an avid gardener, and enjoyed hosting local neighbors as a way of fostering a ‘sense of community.’  She volunteered her time and talents at the Pine Hill Community Center, and made many dear friends.

     Surviving are her son Jayson Taylor and his partner Miranda, brother Joel Adler and nephew and niece Steven and Alison, and many valued friends.

     A Service to Celebrate the Life of Audrey will be held at a time and place to be announced.  Memorial arrangements are under the direction of the E. B.
