Burton Lee Grant

Yorktown Heights-

     Burton Lee Grant, 66 of Yorktown Heights died suddenly at home on Thursday May 5, 2022.  He was born February 8, 1956 in Newark, NJ son of Marjorie Lockwood Grant, and the late Burton Grant.  He was an avid outdoorsman, who was a talented angler, as well as a skilled landscaper.  Burton was a devoted care giver for his Mother, as well as being the most neighborly guy in the neighborhood.  He was kind and genuine.  Known as "Grandpa" or "PePa", he adored his grandchildren.  He had a strong affinity for Rock 'n Roll and "Camo".  He had a reputation, larger than life, as the favorite Dad, Son, Uncle, Brother, and Grandpa!

Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughter Anna Marie Grant, brothers: Ronald and Roger Grant, grandchildren: Cody, Mason, Dylan, and Faith.  He was predeceased by a brother Larry in 2012.

A service to celebrate the life of Burton will be held on Monday at 12 noon at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home  87 Main St. Phoenicia.  Burial at the family plot at the Hudler Cemetery, Rt. 28 Mount Tremper.  Friends will be received on Monday prior to the service from 10am to 12 noon at the Gormley Funeral Home.  You may share a special memory or condolence with the family on Burton's Tribute Wall at www.gormleyfuneralhome.com
