Charles Michael Nergelovic, passed away on September 11, 2025, at his home in Olive Bridge, NY. Born on August 24, 1979, in Poughkeepsie, NY, Charles was a man of exceptional character and warmth, whose presence brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Charles leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Diana Blair Nergelovic, and children: Ahlyna, Atalyha, Christian, and Caden. He was a beloved brother to Alex Nergelovic, Michelle Opgenorth, and Chris Crandell. His parents, Charles F. Nergelovic and Wanda Fernandez, remember him as a beacon of light in their lives, a son who brought immense pride and happiness. Chuck was predeceased by his stepson Mark Monserrat Jr.

Professionally, Charles was a highly skilled mechanic, revered for his expertise in automotive diagnostics and repairs. His passion for motor crafts was not just a job but a calling, as he dedicated his life to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of his customers. His workbench was a place of magic, where problems were solved, and vehicles were given new life.

Charles's loved sports. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Giants, following every game with fervor and excitement. His enthusiasm for his teams was infectious, and he was often the life of game-day gatherings, sharing his insights and cheers with fellow fans.  Beyond the roar of engines and the thrill of sports, Charles was a skilled angler, finding solace and joy in the serene mountain streams of the Catskills. His love for fishing was more than a hobby; it was a testament to his appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures of life.

As we bid farewell to Charles Michael Nergelovic, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, a journey marked by love, dedication, and an enduring spirit. He will be remembered as a loving husband, a caring father, a dependable brother, and a true friend.  A gathering was held privately at the E. B.
