Dolores A Rotella

Shandaken-

     Dolores A. Rotella, 76, of Shandaken died Saturday May 27, 2023 at the Golden Hill Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.  She was born November 23, 1946 in Kingston, daughter of the late Roy and Betty Jane Ashley Platt.  A native and life long area resident she took great pride in making her house a home.  She enjoyed bingo, car racing, and camping at Twin Oaks.  Dolores was known to speak her mind and loved her animals.

     Surviving are her husband of 56 years Joseph R. Rotella Jr., a son Joseph (Kerri) Rotella, five grandchildren: Nicole, Joey, Jessica, Heather, and Jacob, six great grandchildren: Ryker, Raylan, Taylor, Kaiden, Jameson, and Jaxson. a nephew Brian, and her feline companion 'Angel'.  She was predeceased by her brother Bruce, and nephew Bruce.
