Donald Pomeroy

Donald Pomeroy, 65, of Worthington, passed away suddenly on October 2, 2024 due to a severe heart attack at United Hospital Center.  He was born in Margaretville, NY on December 24, 1958 to the late Donald Anthony Pomeroy and Mary Theresa (Fennelly) Pomeroy of Big Indian, NY. 

He is survived by his mother, Mary Theresa (Fennelly) Pomeroy of Big Indian, NY; his fiancé, Wanda Barnes of Worthington; three daughters:  Tonya Pittman and husband Duriel of Salisbury, NC, Barbara Ann Pomeroy of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Jennifer Pomeroy and companion James of Franklinton, NC; two sisters:  Barbara Pomeroy and husband Orville of Jefferson, NY and Kathleen Pomeroy of Boiceville, NY; three brothers:  Emory Pomeroy of Boiceville, NY, Michael Pomeroy of Mt. Holly, NC and John Pomeroy of Mt. Tremper, NY; three stepchildren as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Donald is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Anne Pomeroy; one granddaughter, Patience Johnson; one uncle, Johnny Fennelly and one aunt, Ellen Nixdorf.
