John Thomas Giacalone

West Shokan-

     John Thomas Giacalone, 59 of West Shokan died Monday April 3, 2023 at his residence.  John was a graduate of Onteora Schools, and spent most of his life in the Catskill Mountains, where he had a profound appreciation of nature.  He was born in Valley Stream Long Island son of the late Thomas and Bonnie Lee Rowlette Giacalone.  John loved people, and his family and friends were paramount to him.  He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, NY Giants fan, and a member of the Bushkill Rod & Gun Club.  John was baptized in a ceremonial Beach Baptism in St. Augustine, Florida. He was a self employed Master Painter as well as a licensed Physical Therapist.   He made an impression on you, and will be dearly missed by all.

     Surviving are his sister Lisa and her husband Charles Gilbert of Florida, two nieces and a nephew, and many, many dear friends.
