Judith A (Ennist) McCumber

New Kingston-

     Judith A McCumber, 75 of Thompson Hollow died Thursday December 30, 2021 at the Kingston Hospital.  She was born October 6, 1946 in Pine Hill, daughter of the late George and Lillian Pearl Cure Ennist.  A native and life long area resident, she was the matriarch of her family, and cherished the role as she hosted traditional family gatherings for many years.  She had an appreciation of nature, and was attentive to her lawns and landscaping at her home.   Judy's gardens were always beautifully tended to  with a green thumb and much nurturing.  She loved animals, and enjoyed the time she spent with  her horses.  Judy was focused on always caring for, and worrying about others well-being.

     Surviving are her daughter Tammy (Todd) Van Keuren of Margaretville, a brother William (June) Ennist of Pine Hill, and two grandsons: Daniel and Dillon Van Keuren.  She was predeceased by her husband Orson 12/25/1996, infant daughter Donna Marie in 1966, and siblings: Barbara Segnini and Robert Ennist.

     A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later time, when it is prudent to assemble and celebrate her life with us.  The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to www.hvhospice.org  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the E.
