Keith N. Langston

Mt. Tremper -
    Keith Neil Langston, 78, of Mt. Tremper died Saturday Aug. 5, 2023 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.   He was born Dec. 10, 1944 in Huntington IN, son of the late Virgil and Ilo Hoover Langston. Keith was a retired computer engineer with IBM Poughkeepsie, and a member of the Quarter Century Club.  An area resident since the early 1960’s , he has resided in Mt. Tremper for the past thirteen years. He loved listening to music, as well as celebrating the human spirit by performing with the Ars Choralis of Woodstock, Rhinebeck Choral Club, and the St. James Choir.  Keith had a green thumb cultivating his gardens, and delighted in creating epicurean gourmet dishes. 
    Surviving to cherish his memory are his partner of 33 years, Cathy Wildermuth of Mt. Tremper, and 2 sons: Brett and Todd Langston. He was pre deceased by his sister Charlene Platt .  
    A service to Celebrate the Life of Keith will take place on Thursday at 8pm at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 8pm prior to the service.
