Lorraine F McAllister

Lorraine Frances McAllister, age 92 died October 22, 2022 at Mountainside Residential Care in Margaretville, NY.
Lorraine was born in Gapland, Maryland but lived most of her adult life in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lenora Nokes Gordon. She was married for over 60 years to the late Leon N. McAllister. She had two sisters Joanne and Evon who predeceased her. Lorraine had three children, the late Barry McAllister (surviving wife Lisa) of Clear Spring, Maryland, surviving daughter Mitzi Thomas (husband Steven) of Pine Hill, New York and surviving son Brian McAllister (fiancé Staci Baughman) of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Lorraine had two grandchildren and three great grandchildren, grandson Aaron Thomas (wife Jennifer and great grandson Michael) of Clintondale, New York, great granddaughter Savannah of Schenevus, New York and granddaughter Sarah Remsburgh (husband Scott) and great grandson Tyler of Hagerstown, Maryland.

Lorraine worked for many years until her retirement at Maryland Ribbon Company, but her greatest joy was in taking care of her family. She was tiny in stature but loved with a huge heart. She was heard to say many times to everyone who knew her that she loved them. She will be so missed but is now home with her Lord and Savior.
Memorial  arrangements are under the direction of the E.
