Marguerite Hagl

West Shokan-

     Marguerite Hagl, 81 of West Shokan died Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the Kingston Hospital Emergency Department.  She was born June 13, 1940 daughter of the late Michael and Margaret McPartland O'Rourke.  Marge was a part-time resident for decades, and full time for over 30 years.  She had been a bookkeeper in Manhattan for Catholic Charities.  She was an active volunteer of Meals-on-Wheels, and was known as someone who could "get things done"!  She enjoyed the beauty of nature, especially tending to her flower gardens, and the joy of traveling with her husband.

     Surviving are her husband of 40 years Arthur Hagl, a brother Michael O'Rourke of PA and a granddaughter Jessica.  She was predeceased by her son Richard and her sister Sheila Kennedy.

     A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:30pm at the Bushkill Cemetery, West Shokan.  Friends will be received on Thursday prior to the burial at the E. B.
