Mark Braman

Mark P. Braman, affectionately known as Marko to those who knew him best, passed away on November 11, 2025, in Woodland Valley. Born on August 7, 1956, in Suffern, NY, to Jay and Gloria Phillips Braman Sr., Marko's zest for life and charismatic spirit touched everyone he encountered.

Marko's love for the New York Yankees was as steadfast as his loyalty to the Rolling Stones. His passion for vintage American muscle cars was more than a hobby; it was a testament to his appreciation for classic beauty and raw power. He often joked that he was the "older and smarter brother" to Jay Braman Jr., a title he wore with pride and humor.

Marko's professional life was a rarity in today's ever-changing world. He dedicated his entire career to Ametek Rotron, where he not only excelled at his job but also formed lifelong friendships. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and jovial presence, always ready with a helping hand or a witty remark. Retirement did not diminish his connections, as he remained a beloved figure among his former coworkers.

The bond between Marko and his life partner, Deborah Warren, was a love story for the ages. Since the 1980s, the couple shared a deep connection that was evident to all who knew them. Their unwavering commitment to each other was a source of inspiration, proving that true partnership transcends the need for formal vows.

Marko's childhood in Pearl River, NY, was the epitome of a classic 1960s neighborhood life. He was a proud member of the "Highland Hairy's" sandlot baseball team, a group that rivaled the "Lincoln Loonies" and created memories that lasted a lifetime. The friendships he formed on North Highland Avenue—with Eddie, Alan, Mike, John, Joey, Johnny, Mary, Amy, Peter, and others—remained close to his heart, a cherished part of his personal history.

Family was the cornerstone of Marko's world. He drew strength and joy from his relationships with his brother, his nephews Roscoe and Fletcher, and his extended family members like Mike, Denise, and Laura. Each person in his family circle contributed to the rich tapestry of love and support that defined his life.

In his later years, as health challenges arose, Marko devoted himself to the care of his aging parents. His dedication to their well-being was a testament to his compassionate nature and his deep sense of responsibility as a son.

Marko's unforgettable smile, hearty laugh, and gentle soul will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His capacity for love was boundless, and he often went above and beyond for those he cherished. Though his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, Marko's legacy of kindness, loyalty, and unwavering friendship will endure in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
