Patricia A Walley

Pine Hill-

     Patricia. A. Walley, 83, of Pine Hill died Tuesday August 9, 2022 at the Margaretville Memorial Hospital. She was born February 27, 1939 in the Bronx, daughter of Edith Finck.  An area resident for over 35 years, she had a strong sense of community. She created a legacy of advocating for brain injured children, special needs children, and US veterans who had been exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam. She was recognized by the Gold Star Wives, and the Hillcrest Educational Foundation for her tireless efforts. Pat was a game show aficionado, an avid bingo player, and quite computer savvy in her volunteer efforts. 

     Surviving are her children: Jeanette Edwards, Laura Ziermann, Thomas Jackson, John, Desi, Alex, and Tony Walley.  Twelve grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her husband Tom in 2000, and siblings Stephen, and Dorothy.       

A memorial celebration of Pat’s life is being planned for Pine Hill.
