Raymond B German

East Meredith-

     Raymond B. German, 74 of East Meredith died suddenly Monday October 25, 2021 at the Bassett Memorial Hospital in Cooperstown.  He was born March 8, 1947 son of the late Bruce and Evelyn Restchak German.  He was a native and life long resident of the Catskills.  He was employed for over twenty years as a snow maker at Belleayre Ski Center in Highmount.  He had an appreciation of nature, and enjoyed spending time in the forest cutting fire wood, hunting, and fishing.  He had many talents, and had formerly been a member of the CSEA.

     Surviving are his children: Iris Stratton of Halcott Center, Sarah White, Selena Linsner, Samantha German, and Robert German.  Two sisters: Cynthia Chung, and Lorraine Bussy, and five grandchildren also survive.
