Robert J Boland

     Robert J. Boland, 62, of Shandaken died peacefully Sunday July 17, 2022 at his residence after a short battle with cancer.  He was born June 11, 1960 in Kingston son of Rosalie Jones Boland and the late Floyd "Bubby” Boland.  A native and life long resident he was a graduate of Onteora Central Schools Class of '78.  He was an exceptional athlete who received several baseball MVP awards.   He was an avid NY Mets and NY Giants sports fan.  He was a talented drummer in school, and loved classic rock.  Bob appreciated the beauty of nature, and had a green thumb in tending to the gardens and landscaping of his home.  He enjoyed fishing the streams of the Catskill's and also being creative cooking various dishes.  Bob was content, and loved his family very much.

     Surviving in addition to his mother Rosalie Boland, are his daughter Brianna and her mother Maureen, and siblings: Michael (Anne) Boland, Michelle (Scott) Lane, Stacy(Don) Sharon, and Rachel (Darlene) Boland.

     A private service to celebrate the life of Bob will be scheduled.  Arrangements are under the direction of the E. B.
