Robert Dodson Obituary
Olivebridge....... Robert K. Dodson, 81, of Mill Road died Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Albany Medical Center. Born January 2, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA he was the son of the late Richard and Mary Ellen Dodson.
He was a distinguished cellist and music educator. In retirement, he was a volunteer member of the Olive Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, the former Alberta Fox, with whom he recently celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary. A daughter, Jennifer Dodson and her husband, Jacek Mostwin of Baltimore, MD, a son, Jonathan Dodson and his wife Kathy Isola of Mill Valley, CA. A brother, Don Dodson of California, four grandchildren, Joseph, Meghan, Anna and Mia and several nieces and nephews also survive.
His Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday at the Tongore Cemetery in Olivebridge, NY. Friends will be received on Sunday from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the E. B.
