Robert A Kovacs

 On Monday, June 22, Robert Andrew Kovacs (Bob), 66, of Lanesville, formerly of Hainesfalls, passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer, leaving behind a testament to his unwavering strength. Born on November 1, 1959, in Kingston, he was the son of the late John Kovacs and Marianna. Robert (Bob) is survived by his sons: Robert and Matthew Kovacs, Jayden Benjamin , his sisters: Cheri Kovacs of Kingston, Diana Kovacs of Cottekill, his brothers: Joseph and Jeffrey Kovacs of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, his niece and caregiver Amanda Kovacs-Benjamin of Lanesville, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his sister Carol Kovacs-Ostrander , his twin brother, Michael Kovacs  and his sister Susan Kovacs . Bob's passions for woodworking, fishing, and yardwork brought him immense joy. He Enjoyed road trips and would always suggest a shortcut. His generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial gathering will be held on July 18th at the E  B  Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St Phoenicia from 2pm to 4pm
