Robert Reed

SHOKAN - Robert Reed, 90, died Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Ten Broeck Commons NH. He was born in Fleishmanns, NY to the late Benjamin and Bernice Newell Reed. For many years he was a skilled gunsmith serving the surrounding community with his knowledge and passion for his trade. 

His memories will be carried on by his loving wife, Joan Reed; daughters, Victoria and Mary; sister, Alice and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He has stepchildren Lisa and Chris, and nieces and nephews.  In addItion to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Robert and his brother, Don.

His Funeral Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-6 pm at the E.B. Gormley Funeral Home, Main St., Phoenicia. Inurnment will be at a later date. Further obituary information may be found at GormleyFuneralHome.com
