Shirley A. O'Donnell

CHICHESTER -

     Shirley A. O'Donnell, 86, of Rte. 214 died Wednesday at home.   Born September 4, 1939 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late James and Consetta Sottile Gallo.   A lifetime area resident,  Shirley was a huge Yankee fan, enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks, especially at Raquette Lake.   Family was important to her as was her faith where she was a parishioner of St. Francis deSales in Phoenicia.  Shirley worked at the Phoenicia school  cafeteria  for several years and did home heath care for a local resident for many years. Predeceased by her husband, Michael in 2014, survivors include two sons: James (Lisa) O'Donnell of Shokan and John (Rebecca) O'Donnell of Saugerties.   A brother, Richard Gallo and a sister, Mary Linda North.  Four grandchildren: Robert Schulze, Janet Stock, Melissa Kappler and Samantha O'Donnell. Five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.   She was predeceased by her brothers, James, Anthony, George and Robert Gallo and a sister, Rosemarie Cole.
