Wappingers Falls-
Sue Ann Scofield of Wappingers Falls died Friday April 29, 2022 at her residence after a bout with cancer. She was born October 14, 1946 in Yonkers, daughter of the late William and Marie Stavetski Mugford. She had been THE office manager for Dr. Taubkin's peridontitis office in Mt. Kisco . A resident of Wappingers Falls for nearly 40 years, she was a major supporter of men and women in the military. Sue was very proud of the Presidential Commendations she was awarded for her support of the Desert Storm Families and She was the founder of Mom's Dream Pins. She had a feisty spirit, a wonderful sense of humor, friendly to all, and truly a genuine friend. She enjoyed travel through out the U.S., and tending her gardens at home. She was the family matriarch, and biggest supporter of her grandchildren!
Surviving are her son John (Lori) Hasher and daughter Alyssa Hasher, grandchildren: Reid ( Anna) and Jenna, granddog Penny and grandcats Dallas, Oreo and Midnight. She was predeceased by her husband James Scofield in 2015, and brother William Jr.
A Service to celebrate the life of Sue will be Tuesday May 3rd at 1pm at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St Phoenicia. Burial in the St Francis de Sales Cemetery Rt 28 Allaben.
