Veronica A Wranovics

     Veronica "Ronnie" Wranovics, 82 of Arkville died Sunday September 24, 2023 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital.  She was born July 14, 1941 in Margaretville, daughter of the late Joseph Graham and Louise Fairbairn.  A native and life long resident of the Catskills, Ronnie was a graduate of Roxbury High School.  She and her late husband Michael owned and operated Wranovics Florist in Arkville for forty years, having retired about twenty years ago.  Ronnie was a very community minded individual.  She was a key organizer of the annual Arkville Community Fair, and an active member of the Sacred Heart Parish in Margaretville.  She enjoyed time spent with other friends in both the German Club, and the  Red Hatter Society where members share a sense of humor, as they age with joy and panache!  Ronnie  had a green thumb in both her vegetable and flower gardens, and experienced the wonder of world travels.

     Surviving are her son Charles and his wife Kim Wranovics of Hurley, and a granddaughter Brianna Wranovics, and grand dog Cassie. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1993, and son Mark in 2008.
