William Ross

William R. Ross, 88, died Sunday May 23, 2021 surrounded by those who loved him, at his residence.  He was born April 12, 1933 in Boston, MA son of the late Lester and Marguerite Boas Ross.  He was a graduate of military school, and went on to become an insurance executive for AIG in both NY and NJ. He was an area resident since 1998, who enjoyed live music, a good read, and extensive travels.  For six decades he vacationed at Moosehead Lake in Maine.  He definitely was the family patriarch who was loving and protective of his family.

Surviving are his daughter Kimberley Ross of Shokan, son: Grayson Ross, two sisters: Luise Ross Joyce, and Mairgreg Ross Lewis.  Four grandchildren: Julius Grayson Bright-Ross, Nua Isabella Araki, Aleihla Crossan-Ross, and Ngo'e TeMoana Crossan-Ross.

A  private service to Celebrate the Life of William will be held at Moosehead Lake, ME later in the summer.  You may share a special memory or condolence with the family on William's Tribute Wall at gormleyfuneralhome.com  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the E.
