Nancy Marie Darmstadt

     Nancy Marie Darmstadt, 85 of First Avenue died Wednesday June 27, 2018 at the Pine Rehabilitation Center in Catskill.  She was born November 16, 1932 in Lynbrook, NY daughter of the late Harold and Emma Gephardt Fritz.  An area resident for the past 50 years, Nancy crafted many beautiful quilts.  She had formerly volunteered with the Ulster County Board of Elections, enjoyed music, played the piano at the Methodist Church, and loved to travel the US by Amtrak. 

     Surviving are her former husband Ralph Darmstadt, the children: Kenneth of Kingston, Phillip and his wife Ivy of Fleischmanns, Deborah and her husband Peter Bazzani of Saugerties, and N. Lynn and her husband Mike Sanders of Ghent. A brother Lawrence Fritz and his wife Evelyn of CA, and Sister Ellen and her husband Key Calhoun of FL.  Seven grandchildren: James, Renee, Will, Michael, Matthew, Jaclyn, and Aston, three great grandchildren: Jake, Lilli, and Dilynn.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter Carrie Tintle.

     A Service to Celebrate the Life of Nancy will be held on Friday June 29, 2018 at 12:30pm at the Bedell Cemetery Redkill Road, Fleischmanns. Friends will be received on Friday morning prior to the graveside service from 10am to 12 noon at the E. B.
