Paul Robert Davis, 39 of Big Indian died suddenly at his residence on Thursday May 10, 2018. He was born June 17, 1978 in West Point son of Karen Farrell Davis Johnson and the late Robert Davis. A life time area resident, Paul was a skilled tree trimmer. He enjoyed stream fishing and gardening, however spending time with his children was paramount in his life. He was an avid NY Yankee and Green Bay Packers fan.
Surviving in addition to his mother are: his wife Amy Valentini Davis, son Cole and daughter Vera, and siblings: Amy ( Chris) Sherman, Robin (Dave) Ackerley, Laura Davis, John (Amy) Hren, Sawyer Johnson, and Lydia Johnson. Step brothers: Adam (Mellissa) Johnson, and Matthew (Kara) Johnson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Paul will be held on Monday at 8pm at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia with Pastor Lee Stowe of the Shandaken Memorial United Methodist Church as celebrant. Friends will be received on Monday from 7-8pm prior to the service.
