Arkville-
Edward Ezra Ennist, 54, of Arkville, died Saturday, January 1, 2022, at his home. Ed was born May 7, 1967, in Margaretville, son of William and June (Todd) Ennist. He was a native of Pine Hill and spent his life as a resident of the Pine Hill/Margaretville area. Ed was a self-employed general contractor, working jobs both locally and as far away as Virginia. He had a terrific sense of humor, and was a gifted story- and joke-teller, a trait he inherited from his maternal grandfather, Ezra Todd. He was also a very talented builder and woodworker, traits he inherited from his fraternal grandfather, Ed Ennist. Ed loved trucks, particularly Dodge Rams, and could often be found dropping into car dealerships to check out the newest models. He also was a collector of die-cast cars and trucks.
Surviving to celebrate Ed’s memory are his parents, Bill and June of Pine Hill; his brother, Bill, and his wife Robin of Oxford, MD; and his niece and nephews – Paige, of Oxford, MD; Connor and his, wife, Nicole, of Nashville, TN; and Tyler of Oxford, MD. Ed was a loving son, brother, and uncle, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ed will be held in the future when it is safe to gather. You may share a special memory or condolence with the family on Ed's Tribute Wall at www.gormleyfuneralhome.com Arrangements are under the direction of the E. B.
