Giuseppe "Joe" Mania

     Giuseppe "Joe" Mania, 83 of Ava Maria Drive died  peacefully Monday February 15, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.    He was born in Italy on December 6, 1937 son of the late Orazio and Giovanna Mandara Mania.   An area resident for the past three years, he had formerly made his home in Saddle Brook NJ where he had owned and operated the Rochelle Park Barber Shop for fifty years.  Joe was a people person who had served generations of families that came into the barber shop. He was 'old-school'and he valued and promoted a sense of community at his shop.  Joe appreciated the beauty of nature and enjoyed hunting and stream fishing.  His fishing stories were a joy to hear.  He was a former member of the Kiwanis Club, which is an international club whose slogan is "Serving the Children of the World".

     Surviving are his wife Dorothy Seddon Mania, a daughter Susan (John) Hayes of Lanesville, son Keith J. Owens of Boiceville and two grandsons: Michael and Patrick Hayes.

     A private family gathering will take place on Friday at the E. B.
