John Edwin Sweet

John Edwin Sweet, 85 of Jansen Road, New Paltz died Tuesday March 3, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Hospital.  He was born December 9,1934 in Phoenicia, son of the late George and Daisy Sweet.  He had been a logger many years ago.  He was predeceased by his siblings: George and Charlie Sweet, Eva Quick, Thelma German, and Rita Quick.  Most recently, his niece Peggy Benjamin has advocated for his care.  Many many nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10am at the Shandaken Rural Cemetery Rt. 28 Shandaken.
