Liliana F. Battaglia, 89, formerly of Bailey Drive in Boiceville died Wednesday February 3, 2021 at the Kingston Hospital.  She was born March 20, 1931 in Sicili, Italy daughter of the late Nicolo and Gnazia Vivona.  She had been an area resident of the Catskills for twenty years., having formerly made her home in Pine Bush..  As a result of her talents and skills , Liliana was able to immigrate with her family to the United States where she worked as a  professional seamstress.  She also crocheted and knit many beautiful pieces for her family.  Additionally, she had a green thumb in tending to her flower gardens, and always had a simmering pot of homemade sauce on the stove.  Liliana was a faith filled woman, who will be dearly missed by her family.

Surviving are her son Bartolomeo of Willow, Marianne Krueger of SC, 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Giuseppe and son Salvator both in 2008.  

A graveside service will be RE-SCHEDULED at the family plot in the Hudler Cemetery Rt. 28 Mt.
