Lisa Klutsch Obituary

Lisa H Klutsch, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2024, at the age of 62 in Kingston. Born on April 17, 1961, Lisa's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and the joy she found in the simple pleasures of life.

Lisa was predeceased by her father, Fred Klutsch, who no doubt welcomed her with open arms on the other side. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by her daughter, Olivia Stokes, and her life partner of 22 years, Edward Higgins. Her mother, Loretta Stemm Klutsch Jones, and her husband Charles Jones, her sister Lauren Klutsch, and her brothers, Mitchell Klutsch and his wife Gwen, and Chris Klutsch, will miss her deeply. Lisa also held a special place in the hearts of her bonus siblings, Charles, Jennifer, and Jonathan Jones, as well as her Uncle Gary Stemm, all of whom will remember her fondly.

Lisa's educational journey began at Onteora High School and later led her to the Kingston Beauty School, where she honed the skills that would define her professional life. Her most recent position at the beauty salon of the Emerson Resort & Spa allowed her to touch the lives of many with her talent and bright personality.

An area resident for over thirty years, Lisa immersed herself in the community she loved. Her passion for gourmet cooking, especially her use of garlic, was renowned among her friends and family. Her flower gardens and home landscaping were a testament to her creativity and her ability to cultivate beauty in the world around her.

Lisa's love for the beach, ocean, and sunshine was unmatched. She found solace in the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of the sun's embrace. A loyal fan of Marilyn Monroe, Lisa embodied a similar spirit of optimism and the ability to see the best in others. Her trust in people was unwavering, and it was this trust that allowed her to form deep and lasting connections with those she met.

Lisa's beautiful soul shone brightly, and her optimistic and caring nature was a beacon of light for all who knew her. She navigated life's challenges with grace and always managed to find the silver lining, even in the darkest of times.

As we say goodbye to Lisa, we celebrate the extraordinary person she was. Her impact on our lives was profound, and her memory will continue to inspire us to live with kindness, trust, and a zest for life. Lisa H Klutsch will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In her passing, Lisa leaves a void that cannot be filled, but also a legacy of love, beauty, and joy that will endure. She was a remarkable woman whose life was cut short by cancer, yet her influence will continue to be felt for generations to come.

We take comfort in knowing that Lisa's journey was filled with love, laughter, and the pursuit of happiness. Her memory will be a treasure that we hold close, a reminder of the goodness that exists in the world, and the difference one person can make.  Friends will be received on Thursday February 8th from 3pm to 6pm at the E.
