Marilyn E. Scarth

     Marilyn E. Scarth, 86 of Elliot Hills Road died Thursday December 6, 2018 at the Kingston Hospital with her children at her side.  She was born July 3, 1932 in the Bronx,  daughter of the late Francis Morrison and Helen Erickson Morrison.

     Surviving are her daughters: Marilyn Valdez of OR, and Brenda (Michael) Hereth of Kingston. Two sons: Ray (Barbara V.B.) Scarth of Big Indian, and Clifford (Patti) Scarth of Arkville.  Twelve grandchildren, 22 great grand children, and her feline companion Starshine.  She was predeceased by her three children :Arlene Inviviglia, Susan, and James Scarth.

     A service to Celebrate the Life of Marilyn will be held in the Spring at the Hudler Cemetery Rt. 28 Mt. Tremper.  The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society at heartofthecatskills.org/  You may share a special memory of Marilyn with the family on her Tribute Wall at www.gormleyfuneralhome.com   

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia.
