Michael C Szyszka

     Michael C. Szyszka, 70, of Bearsville died Tuesday May 10, 2022 at his residence after a lengthy illness.  He was born January 19, 1952 in Chicago, son of the late Chester and Lillian Rosochacki Szyszka.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. having served 1971-1975.  He continued his service to his country, as a past commander of the Woodstock American Legion Post.  An area resident since 1986, he was a main frame systems programmer for IBM.  Prior to his compromised health, Michael and his wife enjoyed socializing with folks in Woodstock.  He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, and naturally a computer enthusiast.

     Surviving are his wife Roswita Schilli Szyszka, two sons: Eric and his wife Amy Pasciucco of Cold Spring, and David Szyszka of Mexico.  Two brothers: Thomas and Steven, and he was predeceased by his brothers: Kenneth and Timothy.
