S. Michael Jankowski

Halcott Center-
     S. Michael Jankowski, 80 of Halcott died Monday February 4, 2019 at the Kingston Hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was born July 14, 1938 in Port Chester, son of the late Stanley and Mary Schuster Jankowski.  Michael was a skilled automobile mechanic who could fix most any motorized piece of equipment.  He had been an area resident  for the past forty years, and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing.  He had an innate appreciation of nature.  Michael enjoyed watching old Westerns, and loved his dogs.
     Surviving are his wife of fifty years Lorraine Jankowski of Halcott, a daughter Diane Rozmus and son Michael Jankowski both of Cary, NC.  His brother Richard and his companion Patty Fishkin of Hyde Park, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his Yorkie "Maggie".
