Susan Rollins

Boiceville, NY-

Susan “Renee” Rollins 62, of Jamestown NC passed away unexpectedly on 1/20/21 in Boiceville NY. She was born October 10, 1958 in Thomasville NC, daughter of the late Edward and Ruby Rollins.  Renee graduated Ragsdale High School 1976 and afterwards started a family and moved to Virginia. After her children were of school age she became an EMT and was a volunteer for the local rescue squad. She also worked for a private ambulance service and nursing home as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She later joined her daughter in New York and has been residing there for the past 15 years. Renee’s had a love of food, cooking and dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was loved by many for her kindness and loving nature. She will be missed tremendously.

Surviving are her daughter Erica Mahlkuch and Son in Law James Manuel, brother Barry Rollins, Sisters Vicky Moon and Angela Neal, Grandchildren Sophia Mahlkuch and Rowan Mahlkuch-Manuel. She is proceded in death by her brother James Rollins and son Danny Mahlkuch.

Funeral to be held at Hanes Linberry Funeral Home on 1/30/21 at 11:00 am. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Foundation of Suicide Prevention at https://afsp.org/donate-to-afsp. The support of this effort was important to Susan in her endeavor to honor her son Danny.  Local funeral arrangements entrusted to the E. B.
