Woodstock-
Timothy W. Keefe, 43 of Woodstock died suddenly Sunday August 14, 2022 at the Kingston Hospital Emergency Room. A native and life long area resident, he was born June 2, 1979 in Kingston the son of Timothy H. Keefe and Jane Toth Keefe. He was a graduate of OCS and had many adventures and life lessons along his life's journey. He had a great appreciation for nature, was a NYS licensed guide, a member of the NYS Guides' Assn., and naturally enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He always had a supply of shiners for his angling buddies. Timothy was the small business operator of Keefe Hollow Outfitting Co. He had culinary skills in the kitchen as he prepared various game meats, using fresh vegetables from his garden. Timothy was a loving, honorable, hard working young man who was a phenomenal writer, and was both funny and witty. He had a incredible sense of family values, and loved his family above all else. He has been employed by the Town of Woodstock at the water/sewer department for the past five years. He was an avid METS fan and loved Mopar cars.
Surviving are his wife Joy Nadine Hilbrandt Keefe, a daughter: Willow Rose, a son: Gregory McDonnel, his father: Timothy (Kimberly) Keefe, his mother: Jane Keefe and her partner Effren Williams, his siblings: Justin (Tara Colon) Keefe , Corey (Madelyn) Smith both of Saugerties, and Ryan (Amelia) Smith of Olivebridge. In-Laws Robert and Lillian Hilbrandt of Red Hook, as well as a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Timothy will be held on Thursday at 11am at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia. Burial to follow in the family plot at the Willow Cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9pm at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home.
