Vincent Sardone

May 31, 1950 – May 8, 2021

Shandaken - Vincent J. Sardone, 70, died on Saturday, May 8 at his residence. A native of Brooklyn, Vince was the son of Emily Pote and James Sardone. Loving husband to Susan Breslow, Vince was a wickedly funny, smart, generous, complex man with an endearing, old-fashioned sense of gallantry. He also was a fine cook, domestic god, attentive gardener, and good friend to dogs and cats. A former service director at Manhattan Motorcars, he was exceptionally gifted at fixing all things mechanical and prided himself on restoring a vintage Moto Guzzi motorcyle and building numerous radio-controlled model airplanes. A private Zoom memorial will be held at a later date.
